Lewandowski is a scoring winger with good size and a growing offensive tool kit. The 2025 fourth-round pick will likely feature prominently in his third and final U20 World Junior Championship appearance, as well as his third and final WHL season.

Since being drafted Lewandowski has shown growth in the WHL. He led his team in scoring this past season. This dominance should come to a head this season, where Lewandowski will be expected to post career highs.
Clearly Lewandowski favours his playmaking. While he has not authored otherworldly production fans will hope his offence is able to translate to higher levels.
Strengths
Outside of his skill as a playmaker, Lewandowski has a blossoming shot. This might become a dangerous tool, but as it stands Lewandowski has not asserted himself as a goalscorer. While his shooting velocity is impressive it would be encouraging to see Lewandowski rely on offence closer to the net.
While he is on the slower side, Lewandowski has seemed able to make up for it with some smarter play. Given his early taste of professional hockey in a notoriously defensively minded DEL league, there is legitimate hope that his defensive game will be able to translate to higher levels.
Growth
While on their own his stats do not scream high end prospect, there are some encouraging signs that might help Lewandowski project in the professional ranks. A big season as his team’s offensive focal point in the WHL and at the World Juniors is expected, but could easily raise his profile.
The bigger picture is that it does not matter how much Lewandowski can pad his WHL stats. Instead, it will be integrating professional habits into his game. The true test will come two seasons from now, when Lewandowski is able to prove his mettle in the AHL.
Putting it all together, Lewandowski is an interesting project for the Oilers. The best case scenario would see that Lewandowski can become an effective middle-six forward in the NHL. This projection got a lot of credence given that Lewandowski was able to find the scoresheet in a brief AHL tryout towards the end of last season.
