The Edmonton Oilers did not start Game 4 how they wanted to. A goal on the first shot followed by a bad bounce off to double the Dallas Stars’ lead, the first few minutes of the first period put a huge damper on how the game could go.
However, the Oilers didn’t withdraw as they chipped away to tie the game up after one period, added a two-goal lead of their own after two, and sealed the win in the third with their fifth unanswered goal of the game. The series is tied up at two apiece in a game where the Oilers demonstrated their resilience.
