Oilers Game Recaps

Oilers Visual Recap R3G5: Edmonton wins Game 5 to put themselves one win away from Stanley Cup Final

After coming back in a massive way in Game 4, the Edmonton Oilers have taken control of the Western Conference Final series. Paying the Dallas Stars a visit for Game 5, the Oilers took matters into their own hands and are now returning to Edmonton with a chance to win the series.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored two huge goals to open the scoring and double the Oilers’ lead and his second goal stood as the game-winning goal, while the defensive play by Edmonton was much cleaner and the Stars didn’t get onto the scoreboard until late in the third when it was too little too late for the hometeam to mount a comeback.

One more win and the Edmonton Oilers are heading to the Stanley Cup Final. Let’s see if they can do it on home ice.

Charts from the huge win are below!
