Add another star selection for Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid. For the week of March 18-24, 2024, McDavid earned third star honours.
This is the sixth time McDavid has earned star honours from the NHL this season.
McDavid led the entire NHL with 11 points last week over just four games, 10 of which were assists.
With teammate Zach Hyman scoring his 50th goal of the year over the weekend, the next big milestone on the radar for the Oilers is McDavid’s 100th assist. He’s currently at 91 through 67 games, and could hit that mark as early as this week.
