Oilers Visual Recap 68: Edmonton doubles up Ottawa in offensive outburst

The Edmonton Oilers looked to respond after a disappointing setback against the Toronto Maple Leafs and they had a a good chance to do so facing off against the Ottawa Senators.

The game started off with the two teams trading goals, with Oilers going up by one on two occasions and the Senators responding each time. With the game tied at two apiece heading into the second period, Edmonton took control and got the extra goals they needed to win. Three goals in the middle frame gave them enough cushion. The Senators tried to get back into the game in the third, but were unsuccessful.

Oilers pick up two more points in their bid for a seeded spot in the Pacific Division as they leapfrogged the Seattle Kraken. Charts from the game below.
