Oilers Game Recaps

Oilers Visual Recap 58: Edmonton gets back into the win column with a milestone night

The Edmonton Oilers were looking to snap their losing skid and had a good chance to do so in facing the Philadelphia Flyers.

On two separate occasions the Flyers had a one-goal lead, but in both instances the Oilers were able to respond on the power play to tie the game up. Luckily for the Oilers, their go-ahead goal came late in the third and they were able to maintain their lead to pick up the much needed win.

Also of note, on the Oilers’ second goal of the game, Connor McDavid picked up his 800th career point at the same time Leon Draisaitl picked up his 700th point. It’s hard to align teammate milestones better than that but they did it in the biggest of ways to get Edmonton squared up to spark the comeback.

Charts from the game are below.
