Oilers Game Recaps

Oilers Visual Recap SCF G3: Edmonton pushed to the brink with Game 3 loss

The Edmonton Oilers came back to Rogers Place to a roaring home crowd. Despite being down 2-0 in the series, of all teams in the league this season, the Oilers would qualify as one where no deficit is too big and no lead is safe. They weren’t out of the series yet.

However, coming into Game 3, the Florida Panthers opened the scoring and Edmonton played from behind for most of the game. A three-goal second period for the Panthers included their game-winning goal as Edmonton’s third period comeback was one goal short.

Now down 3โ€“0, the Oilers are in a dire situation. They’re down, but they’re not out yet.

Charts from Game 3 are below.
