The Edmonton Oilers have advanced to Round Two of the playoffs! For the third time in as many seasons, the Oilers came out on top in their seemingly annual first-round series versus the Los Angeles Kings. Edmonton had a chance to advance in Game 5 and they took full advantage.
While things were tense all the way through to the final buzzer, much like the series on aggregate, the Oilers were never really in danger of losing to the Kings.
