The Edmonton Oilers have already clinched home ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs, and they still are technically not out of the running for first overall in the Pacific Division. However, as for the regular season, the Oilers closed out their final game in Rogers Place with a walloping of the San Jose Sharks, capping the night off with Connor McDavid being the first NHLer to reach 100 assists this season.
