This one was pretty much all Oilers all the time. The poor Anaheim Ducks didn’t stand a chance.
Leon Draisaitl netted a hat trick, which pushed him to 50 goals on the season. It’s the third time in his career that he has hit that mark.
Jack Campbell was the difference maker early on, making a number of critical saves to keep things even. With the shutout, it was the second time in franchise history that the Oilers had back-to-back shutouts from two different goalies. The last coming in 2002, courtesy of Jussi Markkanen & Tommy Salo.
With the victory, the Oilers officially clinched a playoff spot in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs!
