The Edmonton Oilers took on the Dallas Stars in a Western Conference tilt. With home ice advantage still up for grabs in the Pacific Division, the Oilers looked to continue their strong pace since the all-star break.
The Stars have been one of the NHL’s best teams all season long, but the Oilers did a great job handling them in this one. Warren Foegele continued his strong play scoring the game’s opening tally, Mattias Janmark scored two, and Connor McDavid scored his 57th goal of the year in the win.
With two points secured, the Oilers leapfrogged the Seattle Kraken and moved into a top-three spot in the Pacific.
Charts from the win are below.
