The Edmonton Oilers came out flying after the All-Star break, despite having three players participate in the festivities last weekend.
With just 32 games left on the schedule and the Pacific Division ripe for the picking, the Oilers put up five goals to defeat the Detroit Red Wings 5–2 on the road. Warren Foegele scored two, and Jack Campbell made 30 saves in the impressive victory.
