The Edmonton Oilers had a much different second game compared to their first against the Vancouver Canucks. The on-ice product was more complete, Edmonton had prolonged stretches of dominance, and they found a way to win in overtime after dominating much of the game.
While there were some uncertainties about the Oilers lineup, both Leon Draisaitl and Adam Henrique suited up for the Oilers as they looked to even the series. Draisaitl had a four-point night, factoring into every Oilers goal, so clearly his presence turned the tides in Edmonton’s favour. The team returns to Edmonton with the series tied up!
