Despite losing their home-ice advantage, the Edmonton Oilers came to Los Angeles without any worry about their ability as a team and their opening road game showed this. The team was electric on offence, questionable calls and play didn’t deter their play, Stuart Skinner had a strong bounceback game, and the Oilers came up well on top.
The Kings’ lone goal was sandwiched by three Oilers goals on either side as this game was won by Edmonton before things really got started. This is exactly the type of game Edmonton needs to play on the road in response to a loss at home.
