This series is turning out to be a rollercoaster. With the exception of Game 1, the other three games have been blowout victories—the Edmonton Oilers with two, the Vegas Golden Knights with one. Luckily for the Oilers, they were able to tie the series up again at 2–2 by taking a critical Game 4.
The Oilers scored four goals over the first two periods before the Golden Knights finally responded with merely one of their own in the third. It was all Edmonton all the way and the visitors were never in it at all. There’s plenty of bad blood between the two teams now as the game ended with over 100 total penalty minutes handed out—Vegas had 64, Edmonton had 47.
Game 5 is going to be a doozy. Buckle up.
Charts from the Game 4 victory are below.
