The Edmonton Oilers visited the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night. After a tough overtime defeat to the Colorado Avalanche a few nights prior, the Oilers looked to get back into the win column.
Unfortunately, things just didn’t go well for the Oilers in this game. The Kings chased Stuart Skinner after he allowed the first four goals of the game on 24 shots, but Jack Campbell then let in two more goals on just 13 shots.
The Kings scored a whopping four power play goals, exploiting what has been a very inefficient Oilers power play to date. In a crucial inter-divisional game, these were two points the Oilers could have really used.
