Oilers Visual Recap 36: Edmonton wins final BOA with gorgeous McDavid goal

It was the final Battle of Alberta of the season between the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames. Entering this game, the season series was tied at one win apiece. Stuart Skinner was in net for the Oilers while Jacob Markstrom was in goal for the Flames.

The game was tight and hard fought for all 60 minutes. The Oilers went down 1-0 in the second period but tied the game on a beautiful point shot from Tyson Barrie. They followed that up with the game winner with a third period power play goal from none other than Connor McDavid. Skinner was incredible, making 46 saves en route to the victory.

The Oilers reclaimed the second wild card spot in the process, a huge boost for the team as they embark on the second half of the season.
