The Edmonton Oilers faced off against the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night. Still without several key contributors, this was a formidable test for the Oilers as they looked to stay in the playoff picture. The Stars have been one of the best teams in the NHL this season, and match up well against the Oilers.
This may have been one of the Oilers’ best games of the season. The game was tied at three goals apiece after 40 minutes, and the Oilers created all their goals off secondary scorers—no points at that point from either Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl.
They ultimately came away with a very impressive 6–3 victory, a huge step for the Oilers. Charts for the game are below.
