Oilers Game Recaps

Oilers Visual Recap 14: Edmonton snaps three-game skid with solid win against the Tampa Bay Lightning

On the second half of the back-to-back, the Edmonton Oilers looked to snap a three game losing streak as they visited the Tampa Bay Lightning. Jack Campbell, who has struggled so far this season, got the nod in net.

Warren Foegele opened the scoring with a nice short handed tally for the Oil. The Oilers grew their lead to 3-1 off goals from Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. The Lightning would add an early third period marker to cut the lead to one, but couldn’t beat Campbell the rest of the way. It was a solid win for the Oilers against one of the league’s best teams.

The Oilers’ record improves to 8–6–0.
