Breaking: Zach Hyman will be back in the Edmonton Oilers lineup for tonight’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes

Zach is back! The Edmonton Oilers are expecting Zach Hyman will play in tonight’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes, his first game of the season

The Edmonton Oilers desperately need Hyman back

It’s fantastic to see Hyman back in the lineup. This team has desperately needed him back for the last few weeks. The team is 8-7-4 and sit fourth in the Pacific Division, but hasn’t won a game by more than a single goal since October 28th against the Utah Mammoth.

Expect Hyman to lineup on the top line with Connor McDavid and Matthew Savoie. Jack Roslovic and Vasily Podkolzin will surround Leon Draisaitl on the second line. As noted yesterday, Ike Howard has been sent down to the AHL.

While it will likely take Hyman some time to get back up to game speed fully, this team desperately needs him to be scoring again. Fingers crossed, this is a turning point for the team.
